Dinos Demetriades has taught EFL and ESP in both Asia and the Middle East for over fifteen years. He obtained his Master's degree in Linguistics (TESOL) in 1997 and has published academic articles on the application of a Genre Approach to English language teaching. He is interested in the differences between speaking and writing and how context leads to the production of different types of spoken and written texts.

Dinos also has a keen interest in Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL), and has written IT Workshop for OUP. He is currently writing and designing interactive EFL materials based on the concept of Genre.
