Guglielmo Gardani graduated in American literature at the University of Venice in 1982, upon completion of research on contemporary poetry at the University of California.
Guglielmo has worked as a translator, and since 1982 has been teaching English in Italian secondary schools. He specialized in ESP (Business English) and published two textbooks for Oxford University Press. He has also worked extensively as a teacher trainer focusing on ESP learning techniques at pre-university level.
He is currently working on modular language teaching in the framework of the curricular reform of Italian secondary school system and is co-author of Aspects of Britain and the U.S.A.
