Diane Hall has an MA in Second Language Learning and Teaching and an RSA Diploma.
She started her career in English Language Teaching in the late 1970s and has taught in Germany and the UK since then. In the mid-1980s she moved from teaching into English language publishing and from there into writing. She is now a freelancer, combining writing, publishing, and teaching.
Diane has co-written several course books and supplementary books for different publishers. She recently wrote, with Derek Strange, a new course for upper secondary, Pacesetter, published by Oxford University Press. Diane lives in Wimbledon, London, where she still occasionally teaches.
