Joan Ross Keyes is the author of the Oxford Picture Dictionary for Kids program, in which five kids and their siblings adventure through 60 busy topics: from Home, School,and Town...to the World, Space and Dreams. Lively CD's bring the picture/stories to life and let students listen in on the characters' conversations.

Among Joan Ross's other published writings are her illustrated album, "Beats! Rhythm Conversations", and two video programs, "Now You're Talking!" and "You Said It!" More recently for Oxford, she served as Series Consultant for the "Kids' Readers" addendum to the Dictionary program.

In the past, Joan Ross has taught public school ESL classes at all levels, and college Masters' classes to teacher trainees. She has traveled the US giving ESL presentations at conferences and workshops. She has also written many articles for educational magazines. She is listed in "Who's Who in America" and "Who's Who in the World".
