Josephine Moate moved from the UK to Finland 10 years ago having qualified as a secondary school teacher. Since that time she has been involved in teaching English as a Foreign Language at all grades of the school spectrum, from primary school to higher education.

Jointly employed by the University of Jyväskylä Language Centre and Teacher Education Department, Josephine has become increasingly involved with the teaching of content classes through a foreign language. She has held a number of in-service training courses for non-native English teachers around Finland, as well as being responsible for a number of language and curriculum development courses for TEFL teacher trainees.
