Diane Phillips has been a teacher of social science, sociolinguistics, and English for thirty years, working with undergraduates, post-graduates, and teachers in a number of different countries. She has a PGCE, MAs, and a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the universities of Cambridge and London.
From 1984 until 2003 she worked for the Bell Educational Trust as a teacher, teacher trainer, materials writer, and manager, most recently holding the post of Head of Academic Management. She is currently a lecturer with the Open University and an inspector for the British Council Accreditation Scheme.
She is co-author of Projects with Young Learners, in Oxford University Press' Resource Books for Teachers series.
