This year, we have changed the conference format to allow for three keynote speakers, experts chosen specifically to address the interests of secondary school teachers in Italy. We will explore how to develop better listening skills and motivate students to more active participation; touch on the neuroscience that differentiates the teenage brain and how we can (and should!) use this information to more effectively reach our learners; and enjoy a practical introduction to Phenomenon-Based Learning from one of the leading experts in the field.
