"How to teach mixed ability classes" must be one of the most requested topics by teachers nowadays. This is an area of challenge for teachers since students went on lockdown during the pandemic. However, in reality, every language class in the world contains students with "mixed abilities" to some degree! For this reason, all language teachers need a range of practical techniques and knowledge they can call on to give every student a chance to learn at their own level. In this webinar, we will review how we can use a "differentiated approach" to teach a class of young learners of mixed abilities. Some techniques will be illustrated using Oxford Discover, Second Edition.
