Reviews of Tiếng Anh 1 Family and Friends, National Edition
"In the Teacher’s Guide, instructions are provided clearly for teachers. The ‘Total Physical Response’ is illustrated well, enabling teachers to deliver it in class.
Other approaches are also used, such as experiential learning, task-based learning, and project-based learning. All of these help to create an exciting, natural, and appealing atmosphere for students to learn in."

"This is the best available book for teaching and learning English in Viet Nam. It is modern in both content and format. The topics are appropriate for children in Grade 1. They help them to become acquainted with English, arouse and nurture their love for English, and help familiarize them with aspects of Vietnamese culture.
The ‘Fluency Time’ sections increase students' ability to apply English language to real life. Throughout all the lessons, students combine English language learning with learning in other subjects, providing cross-curricular integration and holistic development."
